UPDATE!

Our land purchase completed this morning!

My first act was to chain off the access with a PRIVATE PROPERTY sign to make it clear to the locals, dog walkers etc that the land is no longer "just an old orchard".

It's amazing how most of the locals all heard about it WEEKS before we told them! The old rural bush telegraph at work!

After 5 years here my wife has become well known to the locals .. she is NOT regarded as a "townie" or as a "hobby farmer. We have already been offered all sorts of stuff by the local farmers & farm suppliers, either free or at a huge discount. Clearly it's wise to make friends with the locals!

Anyway, I suspect my free time has now been re-allocated for the forseeable future ....

GREAT NEWS VORTEX

:D :D

A wonderful feeling isn't it? A whole new project ready to be started!

And the support from locals is a big plus.... :)

I'll lift my red vino to you tonight in a quiet toast to future productivity...

ETA Brilliant picture Aurora.
