Isn't it good to feel pleased about predicting a tyrant winning an election?

One sign of a tyrant
2) Trump then diverted to an excuse that “If we could, I wanted to keep it private, because I don’t think it’s anybody’s business if I want to send money to the vets.” There are two problems with that comment. First, it isn’t his money that he’s supposedly sending to the vets. It is money he raised from other donors who have a right to know where it’s going. Secondly, he can hardly claim that he wanted any of this to be private when he has been shamelessly boasting since he conceived of it and made it available for a live television broadcast. He also previously posted a list of alleged beneficiaries on his website, which is a not the act of someone hoping to remain private. [Note: PolitiFact rated this a “Pants On Fire” lie]
Of course the trump lovers will probably label this "fake news". There is much more...........

Yes woodburner it does feel good to predict the victory of Donald Trump.

That was my bonus for the year, tax free.

I wouldn't describe Galloway as a Liberal.

The definition of "liberal" seems to be very flexible, and as with many labels, political or otherwise, appears to be used frequently as an insult.

I would say it was interesting that neither of you elected to address a single point in Galloway's video. Except, of course, that lack of addressing any of the points was entirely predictable.

Forget about "right" and "left". These terms are becoming increasingly meaningless. There is a globalist neo-con mafia running the world. And then there are the rest of us.

Clearly, Trump is not one of the "rest of us". Indeed, he comes from, in economic terms, the same "establishment" as the people running the corporations. However, he belongs to another branch of that establishment that is diametrically opposed to their interests. Whether he turns out to be as big a bastard to the average American workers as the shower he is replacing remains to be seen. But, BAU was bound to end at some point. And now it has. And everything is up in the air.

What Trump has said is that he will repatriate much of the work the Rust belt states lost 30 odd years ago and that he will seek a rapprochement with Russia. If he manages merely the Russian side of that, he will be a better president than any of the alternatives that were offered to the American public

What trump says rarely has much to do with the truth, or what he does, unless it makes him more money.

So, LJ & LB3, a 'rapprochement with Russia' is a good thing ?
Cosying up to Putin's regime ?
Turning a blind eye to Ukraine ?
Turning a blind eye to Syria ?
Turning a blind eye to human rights abuses ?

What's in it for us ?
Their only bargaining chip seems to be access to their fossil fuels....
Great...., so we can expect more wars in the Middle East and more Climate Change.....?

And all because the Russians have got some 'hold' on Trump ?

Your choice of language gives away your childish bias
Turning a blind eye to Ukraine ?
What "blind eye". The American spy agencies fostered a neo-facist coup in Kiev and the Crimeans, being largely Russian speakers, thought "f*ck that" and promptly voted to secede to Russia. Yes, that's right. Russia DID NOT annex Crimea and it doesn't matter how many times that lie is promulgated by the MSMS, It is still a lie. You can provide no evidence whatsoever for this lie.
Turning a blind eye to Syria ?
Turning what "blind eye" to Syria? Syria was, and will hopefully continue to be, one of the few remaining relatively secular nations in the middle east with a ruling political party and president that has clear support by the majority of its people as demonstrated by an election that was carried out in the midst of a Yank orchestrated head chopping terrorist insurgency. Well, the Yank proxies have been routed.
Turning a blind eye to human rights abuses ?
Funny how these poor repressed Russians keep demonstrating a level of support for this "Tyrant", that Western governments can only dream of isn't it.
What's in it for us ?
Not WW3

The wars in the middle East over the last several decades have almost exclusively been instigated by Western, Yank led interventionism.

And all because the Russians have got some 'hold' on Trump ?
You have no evidence for this. none whatsoever.

Your entire post here has been a litany of all of the usual propagandist shite that has been pushed out by the corporate press. You are clearly not an uneducated man and so it would seem, sadly, education is no protector from a lack of capacity to objective thought

I'm not pro Western, Yank led interventionism either.

There is a middle ground - self determination....
But it involves radical redrawing the borders in the Middle East.
IS tried it, but there will be no peace until land issues are resolved - hopefully in a more controlled/democratic manner.....

The problems in the Syria/ME are set to continue for many more years yet.....
Putin has been indiscriminately bombing civilians in Syria (proved) which only brings another round of reprisals/hate/revenge....
I don't see how Trump cosying up to Putin helps with any of this.

The democratically elected and full supported (by the vast majority of the Syrian people), aided by Russia (at Syria's request) has put an end to the destruction of Syria, with all of the the horrors that would have followed that destruction (remember Iraq and Libya?), by defeating the the Yank invention known as ISIS.

Your "argument" is quite simply ridiculous.
