Presumably that's not the case though for children (still under construction) and women (periodic loss/demolition)?

My ROT of 1g per kg per day max. is more than enough for adults. Here's hard figures.

There is no reason. The regs were brought in during the BSE scare. HMG wanted to "be seen to be doing something". I thought they'd been recinded, but apparently not.
