I'm going to stick my neck out here and ask, if there really /were/ to be an 'endgame' between the Russians the USA and the Chinese, would we really be any better off if the USA came out on top than, say, if the Russians did?? I presume Dmitri Orlov's marvellous articles have been talked about in this forum: at least the Russians know how to get by on very little and still prioritise things like education and culture...can you say the same for the USA?

If it wasn't for the crime rates and general corruption, Russia could be a very attractive destination for immigration.

True + they (the Russians) are much better at chess! So combine that with the abundance of resources they have, and you've got a winning side me thinks!
