Did you access it yet, wb?

Try this if not:

It's a very good presentation which sells nothing but sense and even that's free; or you could, like some here, dismiss the whole thing without seeing it because it doesn't fit your prejudices.

The video contains facts and graphs but it's the stories which are the most compelling. A common story is, if you feed animals on GM and they get sick, then get well on non-GM, what do you conclude? I know, GM supporters will say you're not feeding them correctly or not giving them adequate supplements/medications or whatever. Bollocks. Plus it doesn't alter the fact that you don't actually need GM for anything.

That's a heinous lie! You need GM so that you can use copious amounts of Roundup and make Monsanto very rich!!

I apologise for that percentageism.

More independent scientific data that reveals that GMOs are not safe - either for the ecosystem or for human consumption
In the course of analysis to identify potential allergens in GMO crops, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has belatedly discovered that the most common genetic regulatory sequence in commercial GMOs also encodes a significant fragment of a viral gene (Podevin and du Jardin 2012). This finding has serious ramifications for crop biotechnology and its regulation, but possibly even greater ones for consumers and farmers. This is because there are clear indications that this viral gene (called Gene VI) might not be safe for human consumption. It also may disturb the normal functioning of crops, including their natural pest resistance.

Blimey    !!

I remember reading aboutt he Cauliflower Mosaic Virus back in about 1997 when GM was first being talked about, and wondering if it had been safety-tested...now, 16 years later, I have my answer.

According to Philip Howard, a researcher at Michigan State University, economists say that when four firms control 40% of a market, it is no longer competitive. According to AgWeb, the “big four” biotech seed companies—Monsanto, DuPont/Pioneer Hi-Bred, Syngenta, and Dow AgroSciences—own 80% of the US corn market and 70% of the soybean business.

[...]

Another indication that the seed market has become monopolized is the escalating prices for GM seed. Moss points out that in competitive markets, technologies that enjoy widespread and rapid adoption—such as GM crops—typically experience steep declines in prices.

The opposite has occurred with GM crops.

Many of the companies named in this pdf have a foothold this side of the Atlantic. Boycott them or support genetically-modified foods, your call.

Well done GM companies, it looks like you may have sown the seeds of world destruction. Er, what was your plan?

Do GM crops really have higher yields?

No.
