It would appear that the Mericans will do almost anything to achieve what they (think) they want.... :( Their foreign policy since the second world war really stinks.....

Sure, but invading Iraq didn't make oil any cheaper, regardless of how much oil is left in Iraq. Obviously "they" don't care about the blood, but they do care about the bottom line.
