I guess that's why you removed your nice sig pointing out that peak oil has happened many many times; we now have the definitive and final RGR statement that peak oil was in actually in 2005.

I thought it was probably going to be 2008 or 2009 myself, although we could see a bounce in around 2014 if it is possible to measure it in those potentially chaotic days. And it remains a possibility that around 2909 after the dark interregnum our descendants might pull out the last 40 billion barrels in a single year to power the exodus fleet out of Earth's gravity :?

But you are right about Mike Ruppert - a bit of a nutter who makes a career out of being extreme and wrong, but not extremely wrong. [imho :) ]

What??

I don't believe what I am reading here - maybe I missed something. Either that or I am waiting for RGR to come back and say "Fooled you, fooled you - of course there is no Peak Oil"

;)

Well then stop....!

Because the strawman you keep attacking here is that we all believe what you say we believe.

So you continually attack and must surely be tired of doing so. And we (the diverse number of other posters) are also finding it incredibly tiresome.

Try talking instead of teaching and you might find we have common ground.

Oh and drop the scorn. A scornful teacher is never a good one and should not be teaching.

I don't want to make this a habit but...

You can get a train.

http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak

You can get a train from Denver at 8.05am on Wed 2 Dec arriving in Berkley at 7.12pm the following day - 36 hours in total. You have to change (transfer) in Sacramento with a 3.5 hour stopover. It only costs $120 though. Maybe you could add accommodation at $235 to make the journey more comfortable.

As a Ruppert groupie and someone who is concerned to reduce their energy/carbon footprint, I'm sure you'd agree that you just have to be on that train.

Let us know how it goes. Fifthcolumn, I think you should go too. It would be entertaining to read both your reports. Not sure what train route would work best for you though! :)

That's why RGR doesn't like him. He's competition.

Wasn't Ruppert's original name Woopert?

Jailed way back in around 20 AD ... but he was then inadvertently released by a lisping Roman Consul who cried Release Woopert!

I think someone called Woger also escaped justice that day.

Oh my god. What a thought! :o

Off you go then.
