On social occasions I occasionally see people get flustered and make a hasty exit when I've begun to explain PO to them. I've had the same response a few times when I comment about the long-term economic outlook.

I can't say I've damaged any real relationships although I'm relocating to Canada quite soon because of PO and other things so that will obviously damage a lot of relationships due to lack of meaningful contact.

I wouldn't say they were 'admirers' but I think there are one or two people around the place whose interest I have piqued with it.
