You won't get to really feel the hurricane in a hotel room. You'd probably be best standing outside, preferably where there's nothing to hold onto.

If you've got the time, go for it. Getting oneself in the path of a major hurricane is a probably a cheap thrill.

I have a guilty love of storm watching! Go for it!
I feel guilty as I know what these storms do to people and their lives, but wow, to see and feel one.....

I spent a week in a wooden house on an island off the coast of Honduras during Hurricane Mitch 10 years ago... it was very windy, very wet, pretty boring, and dark (no electricity) all there was to eat and drink was pringles and warm beer.....

Maybe a 5* hotel on the US mainland would be more fun though :-)

I just read a book by a BBC reporter who was in Hurricane Ivan when it was just Category 3 and said it was still the most terrifying thing he could imagine.

But if you want to do it, go ahead!

Getting your wife to exercise your prostate gland with her middle finger should give you just as much of a thrill and be much much cheaper :P

I don't believe there's any depletion issues with K-Y ;)

Au contraire. There is now growing concern about imminent shortages of Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Glucono Delta Lactone, Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose and Methylparaben. Check your facts, MacG. Peak Jelly is wobbling towards you more quickly than you think. Thankfully, LATOC has some great recipes for home made lube so you'll be fine.
Dear Vladimir, I have changed my name because Panicky Mum reflected neither my current state of mind nor my Russian roots. I think that you're doing a great job and look forward to enjoying an excellent supply of gas for some time yet. All the best!

Does this mean RGR wants to go where it blows to prove he doesn't suck?

Most of the world, those with money anyway, are making the most of things while they can RGR. Why be different, especially as you don't seem to believe in PO or CC?
