Classic deflection tactics - they weren't from this city/community - our boys are good boys, they all like football/cricket, they go to the temple/mosque and they wouldn't harm a fly....

Meanwhile....
Who said that Brexit would allow us to take back control of our borders ??
Oh, yes, that would be Boris and the Tories....
Who's been issuing Visas and allowing overstayers for the last 5 years ??
Oh, yes, that would be Priti Patel's Home Office for most of it....
Who wanted a relaxation in Visa rules in return for signing a post-Brexit Trade Deal ??
Oh, yes, that would be India....

Surprised you didn't blame the riots on Gordon Brown, or elephants, or bent bananas...

Yes I can't understand the Tory obsession with India these days. Must be something to it.

India, indeed most of South Asia and the Middle East, is in a horrific mess. Once the crop yields begin to reduce due to warming/resource depletion/water shortages kick in and famines start taking hold it will be Armageddon for the whole world. Quite why the UK is intent on importing more of these people is beyond me. Australia does the same but at least they all seem to stay in Parramatta. Our version of Leicester.

That article mentions the Ayodha(sp?) incident and also the Gujarat Riots but fails to mention the causes and history behind both of them.

And the rest, Russia, Ukraine, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Yemen... War could break out any day between Azerbaijan and Armenia and between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The whole 'West Asia' region is a horrific mess.

Humans are the product of milennia of evolution.

We are programmed to survive .. usually through violence.

The advent of the microprocessor and all the other trinkets we have developed since about 1820 won't change that behaviour any time soon.

I just feel sorry for any alien force which approaches earth. They will have a VERY bad time.

...........
It's all about ensuring economic growth. To do that we need an ever increasing population as there is a limit by which most people can increase their consumption to ensure that growth.

An increasing population hasn't cured the underlying problem with the British economy as we still have the same shortages of doctors, nurses, carers, bus drivers, although less so there, and building operatives that we had in the 1940s/50s. Out problem is that the people with the money don't want to waste, sorry, spend it on training people for jobs when you can let poorer countries spend their money on training and then steal their trained people. Much cheaper then and now.

So we have informal immigration, by boat, for the untrained people that we need and more formal methods, by plane, of recruiting the trained people.
