I think the trouble is it was only 2 hours 15 minutes. It would take much longer to tell the whole truth.

Take it as an art film with a deep truth. Everybody, or at least everybody who tried to influence anyone else or tried to get rich, messed up. And most folk don't know the half of it.

It is art film with a very superficial truth. It fell between two stools and choose the former over the latter.
