The UK census is a joke. It is legally binding every 10? years, but Johnny foreigner - sorry, our new citizens - couldn't care less. It has been shown in several ways [food transport, sewage etc] that there are millions uncounted.

If charging a million EVs becomes normal, then base load demand will be supplied - presumably by nuclear unless we actually build tidal/wave. With blackcurrants, I wait until they are all black on a limb and then clean cut it off in dry weather. The bush loses a few leaves but doesn't seem to mind. You can then pick fruit at a table etc.
