Along the flat, an easy 15- 18 miles per hour, downhill just as fast as the hill allows! Up hills, it is pretty easy to maintain 10 - 15 miles an hour for a while on a not toooo steep hill, if it is steep - more like 8 - 10. and this from someone who is not fit! But as Mike says it really helps with...

I was very amused to hear them saying the job was called 'Falling a tree'

lol

And, speaking as a highly trained experienced chainsaw user that did a 4 day course ( ) the girls didn't even do the difficult cut!

I have a guilty love of storm watching! Go for it!
I feel guilty as I know what these storms do to people and their lives, but wow, to see and feel one.....
Just don't get killed!

No, she did say that we couldn't have the wood stove cos the thatch wood catch on fire....
and we couldn't grow vegetables, as only the gardener is allowed that and we could pay for the stable to lock our bikes, but there is no door on the stable....

need I say more?

I voted for yes, mostly thinking of those who would make the 'right' decisions if they could. Like my mum (would make the right decisions if Mike told her anyway!) She is an elderly lady in a council house. She doesn't get to make decisions on what companies she buys from, or insulation etc. I think...

LOL, I must admit, it felt really really good to get the course thing done, I was very nervous and for some reason I now feel more like I am more involved in the wood and more, professional about it. Hard to explain, but it was a big deal for me, so chuffed about it! Still find the trousers a bit hot!

Oh Biff! I think thats me! I think we are doomed, if I think about it too much, but very much don't like to think about it too much - have a cup of tea and do something practical or fun instead. Mike dwells a lot on the topic and I know its because he is thinking a lot about it. I tend to think abou...

Does Mike get that girl if he buys that car?

hmm....

No, really, we have no idea what to do - the only thing I am sure about is NO crossbow.
Everything else is too confusing.
Maybe we should just buy electric bikes and a 4x4.....?

In the morning the ground was covered in slimy bodies

My mum says that she can no longer feed and heat herself on her pension. She only shops in charity shops, her house is usually about 12 degrees (no kidding) and she is now dipping into her savings because of the price of food.... but thats ok, our government is building a really really nice olympic ...
