The Eligibility Date for FiTs is the later of the Commissioning Date or the date the supplier is notified that you want to enter into a contract.

The supplier is fully entitled to not accept the meter reading from zero.

Slightly misleading title.

The proposals are out for consultation until 6th May. Whatever changes are then decided will be implemented from 1st August.

So "UK solar panel subsidies to be slashed" would be more accurate.

The glitch was present in the 'live' broadcast of the recorded programme as well. The fact that it remains in the iPlayer version can mean: - the iPlayer version is a direct copy of the broadcast version (and BBC techies were too lazy to edit it?) - the glitch occurred during the recording (and BBC ...

AFAIK a license is required if you are fishing for freshwater fish - no matter where you happen to be standing. And a more expensive game lice...

We've just done the same with the two bay windows on the front (north) of our house. Cuts down condensation in the bedroom dramatically. Total cost £15.

The windows are already double-glazed, but it is quite old with only about a 10mm gap.
