CHP gen sets can be cheaper if loaded well with both heat and electrical load.
But can be expensive to purchase and maintain.

I know they are having a hard time, but that’s not great the way it was left.

Yet Coal at 9.34GW.

Shows how price alters things.
I wonder how long it will take to get back to normal.
