I think so.

Light crude is in my opinion past the peak, the rest is tough even now and it will only be worse.

Parable of the Sower

Have you read this book? I?m just reading it and it seems to me that we are heading into depicted conditions (low energy, no cars, collapsing infrastructure, police force completely ineffective, pseudo-totalitarian, but weak government, widespread poverty, crime...). Even the dates seem to be fittin...

Unbelievable. They will try anything to ensnare people in their debt webs. This is outrage.

TPTB will use whatever means necessary to keep status quo as long as possible. No doubts about it.

Metals are just shooting through the roof

What do you think about it? Copper soared above $4 a pound for the first time and nickel and zinc rose to records on signs that higher prices have done nothing to curb demand. Gold climbed to a 26-year high and platinum jumped to the highest ever. Seems that it will not take long and we will be runn...

I've been watching a lot of CNN in my hotel room here in Berlin and every other story is about oil, gas prices, Iran, Russia or Nigeria. Bush looked almost gleeful when he said he couldn't really do anything about oil prices. Then there are the stories about how great the stock market is doing. Sno...

This is no silver bullet and nothing new. I doubt that it would rise the recovery rate by more than 10-20% and it?s a costly thing to do. And how energy efficient is to bring CO2 across the distance e.g. from some coal power station to put it into reservoir?

Nice article. Recommended. Notably, prominent Washington neo-conservative, Kenneth Timmerman, told Israeli radio in mid January that he expects an Israeli pre-emptive strike on Iran ?within the next 60 days,? i.e. just after Israeli elections or just before. Timmermann is close to Richard Perle, the...

I?m not persuaded about the declared spare capacity of Saudis. And what is the quality of this reserve crude? I?ve heard that sulfurous content was high and the crude was thick. The factor of reserve inventories is overrated by the market. How long would we be able to last with these reserves only? ...

F1 compatible with fuel efficiency? Don?t make me laugh. I agree with Billhook. The whole automobile industry is one great wasting session. We shall pay dire price for this so called comfort mean of transport. The worst thing is that the new roads are rising everywhere (I?m from Central Europe). It?...
