Couldn't we just declare the UK as bankrupt?

Or maybe if we just let the debt build up the bank that loaned us will go under and we can clear the debt that way?

What about a C02 tax, for everything, we could go green, avoid peak oil and solve our debt problems

Think HD Video downloads so faster than you can watch them, forget scheduled TV/DVD/Blue-Ray. Quantum computing allows for a 'Quantum' leap in scie...

I'm working on a game that 'simulates' the impacts of PO+CC, but to be honest the potential impacts that we are already seeing and the disasters that are occuring scares me, I often find that I need to watch a good zombie flick just to unwind (I wish I was joking)! My game is here http://SaveTheSill...

I think one of the defence departments in the US was researching robots that used a bio based energy source it appeared on The Reg under a heading similar to "Canable Robot Warrior's". Don't think it was a fuel cell more of a methane/digestion process and the actual robot was aimed at the ...

The pad lets you know exactly where your connect...

Someone earlier was refering to how we should not care about the starving people of the world or people impacted by disaster. I disagree with their viewpoint on a number of levels but... Now I wonder if they care about the potential much more personal impacts of terrorism, and realise that if the we...

Do people really need to starve, apparently there are about 1 billion obese people and about 1 billion starving people, now all we have to do is figure out how to transfer the calories from one to the other? What about enforced liposuction based on body fat percentage, and soylent yellow bars as int...

I'm working on a game that 'simulates' the impacts of peak oil currently there is no option to go to war with other nations, only to adapt each contries power plants before oil runs out.. Would it be more realistic if you could wage war on other countries to gain more oil? PS. The Alpha version is h...
