I stored it properly, but it has sealed itself good and proper during its last use. (It currently has some jars inside.) It looks like I am gong to have to take a hacksaw to it. Hello! My first post here, because I am also looking for a pressure canner. My Presto 16-quart canner, brought from the US, looks like it may have had its last batch. I cannot get it open (after it being in storage for some time), and I would really, really like to get one without a replaceable seal...
