Why has no one suggested that we begin to improve our relations with Russia and turn it into a friend not an enemy. We are going to be tied to their gas sooner or later. Life in Russia is not bad, it is no longer the fearful state of the communist era. The people in Crimea voted to be Russian so tha...

Sorry Caspian for not replying for so long. In Spain a large part of it becomes almost desert in summer. They use fertilisers, pesticides, and use fuel like the rest of us. I'm moving to Galicia. You've probably never heard of it. It's not a popular tourist destination as it rains too much. It's lar...

I voted 1 because I have bought a ruined farm in Spain and intend to retire there as soon as I can and become as self sufficient as I can. BUT I had already bought the place before I found out about peak oil so I don't know if that counts. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. However I ...

A nice site but I don't think they take into account public disorder. I mean public transport systems in the cities. I would have thought ability to feed the people would be more important. I may be repeating what others have already posted but this site http://www.mnforsustain.org/erickson_d_determ...

Frankly, either of these suggestions beggars belief. If you have some other theory as to why scientists might be ignoring or suppressing such evidence, please explain. In offer no explanation. If you read my original post you will find I said there are sites that quite logically debunk global warmi...

I think things could get really bad. If the world is incapable of feeding itself what chance has the UK got of feeding sixty million. Yes when things get hard people will try to form communities they can trust. But what about the other community down the road who are finding times hard. They might d...

No Connection?
I simply point out that if other planets are warming up the same as the Earth then they probably have the same root cause i.e. the Sun
Mars is not warming up due to martians using fossil fuels.
