Gas bottle wood burning stove

Hi, if you cannot afford a wood burning stove why not make one out of a empty calor gas bottle. I have made about 10 all different sizes and styles and they chuck out a lot of heat.

Hi, I have mixed pepcoke with ordinary coal it really gets hot, but would not use pepcoke on its own as far to hot.

Hi, I cut a lot of window frames containing the sills, they are to big for my mitre saw, my ex electric chainsaw had difficulty cutting these but this sabre saw cuts them like a knife through butter.

Hi, bought a sabre saw from liddl 30 pounds today, brilliant tool cuts upto 195mm in wood aprox 8in depth, feel much safer than using a chainsaw.

Hello, I have just sold my electric chainsaw as I did not feel safe useing it, are reciprocating saws ok to cut aprox 4in timber etc. I have seen one in argos for aprox 30 pds.Thank You

Hi, had to try it. Paraffin is 6pound 40 p for 4 litres at b/q and most other places over a fiver. I bought some from my garage at 60p per litre, both looked and smelt the same ie yellow, the garage man told me it is 28 sec oil paraffin. hi, it is the model that is supossed to burn its fumes, tried ordinary paraffin that is ok, what is the worst that can happen besides black smoke and fumes, will it burn the fibreglass wick. thanks Peter

Hi, yes run in with small fires, only need to put a few logs in to warm room but sides glow, have repainted it now and put firebricks on inside with firebrick cement, small fire again today.
