Parodies of very well known brands and slogans are powerful. First because the brand or slogan is well known, so plenty of people can immediately relate it to what they already know, and second because of the humour, which if it works is emotionally engaging.

Of course in this case there is a third element, which is that the target of the parody is also the vehicle of the parody.

Humour is an under-utilised tool in campaigning.
