Sensible IMHO, no rush to scrap existing and already paid for nuclear plants, but a prohibition on building more.
I suspect that existing nukes will remain in service for their remaining safe economic lifetimes.

This policy would seem to give ample time to expand renewables to fill the gap, and perhaps also to reduce consumption to narrow the gap to be filled.
