My kids would buy those. I buy easy peel oranges and they still demand I

There are some on this board who remember when getting an orange (with the peel still on, of course) in your stocking at Christmas demonstrated how special the day was and how much your parents wanted to spoil you that day.

Media reports state that these ready peeled fruits have now been withdrawn from sale.
Source is BBC news. :D

There exists The Disabled Lobby.

They're pretty salty about these oranges being withdrawn, on the almost-reasonable grounds that if you've lost a hand, or have arthritis, oranges are all but impossible to peel.

The idea of doing a politician (hah! as if) as a weathervane is somehow appropriate. It's two-faced, it has no will of its own and has no other purpose than to be what it is.
