Let nobody suppose that simple, inexpensive arrangements are faulty because primitive. If constructed correctly and in line with natural laws they are not only right, but preferable to fancy complicated devices.

Really? How many times have you written up an idea, a concept, an analysis, and then cast it out to the domestic and international world of peer reviewed science journals to see how well it withstands an assault by legions of PhD's and scientists the world over?
I think most people here who have published anything would be happy to share it. If security or privacy is an issue, modern technology makes it easy to remove the relevant parts.
