Possible downtime this month [update: problem averted]

Due to a rapid increase in site traffic in the last month or so, we're in danger of running up charges for the excess. These can be quite steep, so we're looking at changing hosting plans.

in the meantime, we've applied a new traffic limit to reduce liabilities - if we hit this before sorting out a package change, the site will go offline for a day or few.

Updates as we sort things out...

I believe there have been numerous offers of financial donations to get us onto a less flakey host in the past...

The hosting package has been changed, which should give us plenty of headroom this month...
