MacLeod's take on AI is particularly prescient given the book was published in 1995.
It confirms my opinion that a better understanding of complex and desperately pressing issues
may be best obtained through good fiction writing.
I am a bit biased as I am about the same vintage as he and we seem to have lived
in the same part of North London and mixed with similar folk about the same time!
