Greenwash? A vegetable plot in a town open space that we at Transition Town Louth started is now subject to a grant application from - yes - Nat West (aka RBS)!

If we win they give us £6000 that they can't then invest in tar sands.
Life's complicated
If you want to sell your soul to the devil you might like to vote here:What do you plan to use the CommunityForce award for?
- Expanding the community vegetable garden in the town. So far we have some raised beds that contain vegetables that the community maintain. These vegetables are free for anyone living in the area to pick and use. Therefore promoting healthy and affordable eating. - Engaging young people to design floral sculptures to improve the look of grot spots in the town and discourage anti-social behaviour. Thereby teaching the community skills in cooking and growing vegetables, gardening and design.
