I didn't want to bring up such a mercenary topic on a serious thread, but the price of chocolate is feared to rise on the damage Ebola is doing to the west African cocoa trade. Already stocked up in response to that dodgy chap who bought the entire futures market. You can have some if you like - at...

Nail bars, however, would continue to flourish, as most of them are fronts for money-laundering. I always wondered how on earth they paid their rates. Mrs Mustard paints her own, it's some kind of occupational therapy thing, but at least I can relate to that. She's got more colours than I have Humb...

Is that site actually for real? Nope. Parody apparently. Bit like the Mash (and Onion). Ebola to be contained within Apprentice house A COBRA source said: “If we cannot stop Ebola we can at least put jumped-up wide boys and two-faced megabitches between it and fully functioning humans. “Visitors to...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2014/10/15/ebola-stricken-nurse-flew-on-a-passenger-plane-a-day-before-being-diagnosed/ Ouch. Oops. Tracing them is easy enough though. The problem is that any of those 130 could now be infected, and it is probably not feasible to quarantine them al...

Something I just read in the comments section struck me; The doubling rate is about 21 days. That's roughly the period of incubation. Conducting a thought experiment, that's around 22 doublings to reach 7 billion. Or, around 15 months. Thought experiment? Inky swot..! I'd need a calculator... Or af...

Riot in Freetown. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-29624762 Not much hope of containment if infectious bodies are left lying in the street for 2 days. Not that rioting is likely to help either. Grim. The chart of deaths said it all though - it is pretty obvious which way that line is heading. Aband...
