I personally was not massively impressed with the film. Not enough science and too much speculation. I also get fed up with so much historical and cartoon footage. The film's target audience is those who won't go and see it. Those would will go and see it needed something in more depth and not endle...

I was under the impression that a indigenous based vegan diet in temperate Britain was pretty impossible as there isn't the source of protein and fats that are needed. These are usually supplemented with imports of lentils etc. The arguement that many nuts are indigenous has never convinced me as I ...

Blackle?

Anyone heard of this: Blackle is Google - but a black screen version. A few months ago, TreeHugger Mark Ontkush wrote a post on his blog EcoIron titled "Black Google Would Save 750 Megawatt-hours a Year " . The post lays out the following train of thought. "An all white web page uses ...

Damn "Strong Armed Dictator" does it again...

I think you need to look at history to see what jobs are always around when times are hard:

Brewers

Prostitution

Actors

Blacksmiths

People who work in markets (not the financial ones mind)

Chimney sweeps

I'm off on a permaculture design course for 2 weeks starting end of April in Shropshire. Also I've started some "Tora Bora" Gardening in my neighbours garden with a few friends. We termed it Tora Bora gardening as because we got permission it can't be real Guerilla gardening but is a sort ...
