I am limited to 200 rounds per weapon although there is no check on my expenditure of ammunition. I don't know if this is standard or whether I could ask to have the amount increased through higher usage. It's never really bothered me. I think the local police force issuing the licence informs the person's GP, that's it. You are supposed to declare any pre existing conditions such as bipolar disorder, dementia etc. No finger printing! I'm not sure why that would be needed?
