I know some of the bastards need kicking out of the force, but they must be really pissed off with all the cuts and changes happening right now. Th...

As with a lot of things, propaganda and the fear factor will win the day.

Its like the people that want more and more roads built for the ever increasing traffic jams.

If a few million people did away with their cars we could manage very well with the existing roads.

Maybe one of the viruses they keep inventing can solve the worlds food problems.

Yes, that's the one. A very upbeat ending  I'm afraid 'ethical consumer choice' is not going to 'do it'. Nor is the vast wave of education... or ... solar panels or wildlife reserves. It needs a total sea change of operational priorities, wealth distribution and global leverage. It needs a 'S...

BBC TV: The Men Who Made Us Spend

We're all being driven mad by maniacs who are obsessed by money.

To think Steve Jobs was worshiped around the world.

Quite a few years ago nobody worried about the cost of childcare, mainly because there was no need for such a thing. The husband went to work and the wife stayed at home and looked after the home and kids. Back in the day, one wage was enough to live on. I though we were better off these days?

I'm about half way through it.

There must be some truth to all the insider dealing before the 9/11 incident.

Records would prove this one way of the other.

As far as the USA is concerned I wouldn't trust anyone in authority.

Most countries for that matter.

How can the price of oil come down?

That would make reaching difficult to get at oil even more uneconomical.

British nuclear power will be too dear for anyone to use.

Power from the new Hinkley C nuclear generator will be too expensive, the boss of one of the UK's biggest energy consumers has warned. Jim Ratcliffe, whose company Ineos owns the Grangemouth plant in Scotland, told the BBC that UK manufacturers would find the price unaffordable. The government has g...

Unease among Brazil's farmers as Congress votes on GM terminator seeds. http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2013/dec/12/brazil-gm-terminator-seed-technology-farmers This is just one example of how the corporations minds work. All they see are the dollar signs before their eyes and sod the...
