I asked on another forum, why did you vote Conservative?

The biggest reason was selfishness.

"I'll pay less tax, or I'll get help with buying a house".

They don't give a shit about having a more equal society as long as they're ok.

The left is for all the people? Seriously? Not seen that EVER (on either side of the political spectrum), I'm not even sure it's even possible. The rioting suggested is WRONG, does nothing to help your cause and in fact harms those you claim to be helping. You tell me a better system to find a gove...

Doesn't really matter who had won the election; the same shit is going to happen. And guess who'll be the ones to pay the most... I don't see any other alternative but for the people to riot. Do we sit around moaning about all the cuts, waiting for the next election? Still no real choice; Labour or...

Why did the Tories do so much better than expected? Because the libdems did so much worse than expected and because of the "SNP factor". In terms of votes, the tories didn't actually do better than expected. They only did better in terms of seats. Why was this? Because of our unfair votin...

I watched the program about Victorian Britain again last night and I thought that that is where we are going back to again; a country of poor workers lorded over by a very rich Kleptocracy (Bloody hell! I wrote "elite" first off. Shows how we have been brainwashed that I could so easily w...

I suppose when we have politicians spouting constant lies about one and other and spreading the fear factor, we can't have anything but a confused electorate. To hear them all talk you would think they can actually do anything about the mess we're actually in. The way I see it is we've had either La...

So if oil is unprofitable to produce for some countries, the price will go up because there's a shortage?

Lots of countries struggling with the low oil price, makes you wonder how they survived when it was only $20 a barrel?

Not that long ago.

I keep getting this picture of a massive sink full of water with all the worlds leaders floating around on air beds, and a big hand pulling the plug out.

If there's not enough food to go around people starve to death, just like animals in the wild.

Nature always wins in the end; better working with it than against it.
