Apparently the Americans have evidence to show where the missiles were launched, and where they landed, and they came from a rebel held area. I haven't heard anything on Radio 4 about the Saudis supplying them to the rebels, who didn't know how to use them and had an accident, that I posted earlier....

This is very interesting, if true, and slightly changes things. Syrian rebels in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta have admitted to Associated Press journalist Dale Gavlak that they were responsible for last week’s chemical weapons incident which western powers have blamed on Bashar Al-Assad’s forces, r...

Great. We can look forward to secret meetings between government and anti-GMO people, Frack Off reps or Greenpeace perhaps? In the interests of fairness and balance, I assume they're happening already! When I finally get the Eco-Hamlets social enterprise up and running, I look forward to reg...

It's not California here but it's also not Wales by a long chalk either!! When a group of us visited the old hydro electric system in Newcastle Emlyn a while ago, the owner said the river was the lowest he'd ever seen it, and there wasn't enough water to run it, even if he could. Both of my streams...

Yep. What I find even more incredible is why our own governments are risking a total meltdown of political credibility by trying the same bullshit on us that they have barely politically recovered from vis a vis Afghanistan and Iraq. One is forced to conclude that either they believe their electora...

JohnB - do you actually read the Daily Mail? I think you will find that the DM has always had a certain anti-science slant and a conservative green NIMBYISM kind of 'keep the countryside as it is' sort of agenda. True, not quite the progressive green attitude you approve of, but not anti tree hugge...
