... and on the sunny Costa Geriatrica, I filled up my scooter today. The regular petrol (95 octane) which I use was exactly €1 per liter. = 87.6p. This just happened to be at a popular Cepsa garage on a main road. Slightly cheaper at the Eroski supermarket where I normally fill up.
